Minor in Art History

Explore the world through art.

This 18-credit minor introduces students to global culture through three foundational survey courses:

  • Any 3-credit, 2000-level ARH survey course that focuses on the art of Africa, Asia, and/or Latin America and/or on the art of Native Americans, Aboriginal Australians, and/or Pacific Islanders: ARH2531, ARH2510, or ARH2613
  • ARH2051
  • Any 3-credit, 2000-level ARH survey course that focuses on the art of Africa, Asia, and/or Latin America and/or on the art of Native Americans, Aboriginal Australians, and/or Pacific Islanders, such as ARH2531, ARH2510, or ARH2613

You’ll also choose three upper-level ARH courses (3000/4000 level) to dive deeper into specific regions, movements, or time periods.
