Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design
Design the experiences that shape our world.
The BFA in Graphic Design is a pre-professional degree that prepares you to work confidently in a constantly evolving field. The program balances technical skill-building with deep conceptual thinking, empowering you to solve real-world problems through visual communication. You’ll explore design’s impact on culture and community while developing a personal, process-oriented practice. We teach the abilities you need to build and sustain a creative career in a dynamic and changing world.
Graduates of the program begin their careers in a range of disciplines and industries, including UI/UX, art/creative direction, information design, design strategy, and advertising. They work in design agencies, in-house corporate design offices, and design consultancies or start their own design studios. Our program has launched alumni into careers with Apple, Electronic Arts, IBM, Microsoft, Viacom, JetBlue, Facebook, Interbrand, Twitter, Tampa Bay Lightning, IDEO, Viget, Walt Disney Imagineering, Kate Spade, West Elm, R/GA, Electra, Fossil, Miami Heat, Verizon, Grey, Gennsler, and more.
