The Center for Arts, Migration, and Entrepreneurship (CAME) at the University of Florida is a research and innovation hub advancing culture-driven scholarship, creative production, and community programming with a focus on diasporic and migratory communities. CAME projects are funded by major foundations like the Mellon Foundation and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; the center partners with colleges across UF—ranging from Engineering, Business, and IFAS to Latin American Studies, University Libraries, and Law—and supports over 80 affiliate faculty. CAME fosters interdisciplinary exploration of the arts, innovation, and entrepreneurship through its unique Maker in Residence program, robust academic and creative ecosystem, and community-driven initiatives like SPARC352. CAME serves as a catalyst for creative and cultural exchange across campus and the broader community, supporting dozens of public events annually that draw thousands of engaged participants.
