Yang Wen is a composer, pianist, and arranger from China, currently pursuing a DMA in Composition at the University of Florida. She earned a Master of Music in Composition from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Her music has been performed in China, the United States, and Bulgaria. She has collaborated with artists and ensembles, including the UMKC Conservatory Orchestra, Unheard Ensemble, and choreographers on interdisciplinary stage productions, and has also served as an arranger and co-organizer in China, presenting three independent concerts with ensembles. Her music focuses on timbre and texture, drawing inspiration from cultural experiences and interdisciplinary collaboration.
