Xinrui Zhang

Xinrui Zhang is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Composition at the University of Florida. She holds a Master of Music in Composition from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, where she studied under Dr. Zhou Long and Dr. Chen Yi. Her music has been recognized in national and regional competitions. She has collaborated with the Kansas City Sinfonietta on a commissioned work, while her music has also been performed at the 2026 Seal Bay Festival. In addition to concert music, she has extensive experience in theatrical composition, arrangement, and sound design.
