Tim Difato

Tim joined the University of Florida, Digital Worlds Institute (DW) in 2013 and holds the position of Interim Director as well as Associate In Digital Arts.  As a member of the Digital Worlds faculty, he specializes in studio production management as well as emerging media with a focus on AR/VR/XR.  His research is focused on the convergence of embodied learning and digital media, specifically on the use of real-time visualization systems for remote embodied experiences. He assists with the diverse research, education, and service initiatives of Digital Worlds. In his spare time, he is an avid wood worker and musician.
