Ryan W. Stone is a composer, classical guitarist, bass vocalist, and organist from Panama City Beach, Florida. Stone was a member of the Voices of Northwest Florida State College from 2021 to 2022. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Florida in 2024. He is a curently pursuing a Master in Sacred Music at UF. In 2025, Stone conducted biographical research on UF’s first organist, Claude Murphree, and UF President Albert Murphree for the UF Pipe Organ Centennial Celebration; giving several lectures on these topics throughout the year. He unveiled the Dedicatory Plaque for the Dr. Andrew Anderson Memorial Organ on November 14th, 2025, as part of the Shawn Thomas Alumni Recital. In addition to these interests, Stone has also done research on compositional form, hymnology, partimento, topic theory, and Requiem Masses composed from the 17th to 20th century.
