Liz (she/her) is in the PhD program for critical studies in improvisation at the University of Guelph. She previously received a PhD in neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine. In addition to this blend of PhD training in the sciences and the arts, her professional background includes three years in mixed-methods user research and product management for a virtual reality software company, along with numerous certified dance/movement therapy trainings. Her background and interests extend across multiple domains and support the creation of transdisciplinary research at the intersection of dance and health.
