Katie Simon

Katherine “Katie” Simon, MIB, is a Human Resources Generalist for the College of the Arts and works with Barb Mitola & Honey Langford. Katie is a double gator! She earned her BABA, with a specialization in International Studies and minored in Accounting, Entrepreneurship & Accounting. She also earned her Master in International Business after her bachelors, focusing on Organizational Staffing, Behavior & Management. 

At COTA, Katie oversees all payroll, time reporting, temporary hires, graduate student hires, and security roles (DSA).

Katie hopes to promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives inside & outside the college by advocating and keeping open communication. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her dog, Boomer, and embroidering.
