Joseph Antonacci

Joseph Antonacci is a junior music minor with a focus on the organ, and the current organist of Epiphany Catholic Church in Lake City. He also teaches organ and piano lessons to beginner, intermediate, and advanced students at the Epiphany Sacred Music school. He has a diverse musical background, including such musical experiences as being the keyboardist in a jazz band, playing the mellophone in the UF marching band and high school band, playing the French horn in the UF symphonic band, and singing Gregorian chant in a schola cantorum. He has performed piano at the competitive level in solo and ensemble settings, being the 2020 Florida Music Educators’ Association All-State pianist and the 2021 winner of the Florida State Spanish Conference music competition. He also played a major leadership role in the Oakleaf High School band program, helping the marching band achieve its first state finals performance in school history, its first national circuit finals performance in school history, and its first regional competition win in school history.
