Dr. Ivory Rose (she/her) holds a masters in occupational therapy from New York University where she received the Arch Award for excellence in service and a post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy from Boston University, where she designed a prescribed volunteerism program for young adults with lived experience in the foster care system. She currently works in a community mental health setting utilizing the arts, nature, movement, social connection, and service to promote well-being for formerly unhoused veterans and community members. Ivory utilizes her original poetry to advocate for social change and has performed on international stages from Los Angeles to London to Paris to Athens. As lead of healthcare engagement for Social Prescribing USA, she is also a staunch advocate for fostering collaboration between occupational therapy and the social prescribing movement.
