Gabriella Garibaldi is a first-year Master of Social Work student at Columbia University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in the Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience track and a minor in Vocal Performance from the University of Florida in 2026, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

During her time at UF, Gabriella served as President of the Hispanic-Latine Student Association and was actively involved in research and arts-in-medicine initiatives. She joined the Center for Arts in Medicine’s Interdisciplinary Research Lab in 2025, contributing to projects including the Broadway Arts social prescribing pilot. Her undergraduate thesis examined music-enhanced inoculation messaging and its potential to reduce public speaking anxiety. She also completed a certificate in Music in Medicine, through which she conducted a practicum and volunteered with the Music in Medicine program at UF Health Shands Hospital.

In recognition of her leadership and contributions to the university community, Gabriella was inducted into the UF Hall of Fame during her graduating term. She is now pursuing her MSSW at Columbia with a clinical specialization. Her interests lie in mental health, immigrant communities, and the integration of arts and music into social work practice. She also plans to pursue a minor in Social Policy and Welfare.
