Azariah Rodriguez

Azariah is from Central Florida, and completed her B.A. in Anthropology from Florida International University in 2024. She has always had a passion for history and wanted to work in museums. Her past experiences include internships in archives, libraries, and collections in institutions across Miami. Since moving to Gainesville, she has interned in the Florida Ethnographic Collection at the Florida Museum of Natural History, and currently works in the Smathers Library as a Special Collections assistant. Her research focuses on highlighting underrepresented stories, and wants to continue gaining collections experience in the GLAM sector. After graduation, she wants to continue working in library and museal institutions in and out of Florida.
