- Center for Arts in Medicine
(She/her) I am currently a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Florida, majoring in Microbiology and Cell Science on the pre-medical track. I am actively involved in UF’s Arts in Medicine program, where I volunteer as a violinist and explore the role of the arts in healthcare.
Beyond the arts, I am passionate about serving my community. I currently serve on the board of Project Downtown Gainesville, an organization dedicated to providing meals and other resources to individuals experiencing homelessness each weekend. I also volunteer as a medical assistant at the Helping Hands Clinic, where I support in providing medical care to individuals without health insurance.
My interest in understanding the connection between the arts and medicine led me to join this interdisciplinary Arts in Medicine research lab. I am especially passionate about collaborative environments that bring together people from different backgrounds, allowing us to combine our strengths to develop creative ideas.
