The UF organ studio was well-represented at the National Convention of the American Guild of Organists held in Kansas City on July 2 through 6, 2018.
Studio alumni gathered for a meal at the beginning of the convention. In attendance were Laura (Wagner) Griggs (BME '77), Ruth Lewis (MM '86), Zach Klobnak (MM '09), Shawn Thomas (MM '13), Michelle Klima (BME '14), Colin Chan (CSE '15) and Lauren Wittine (BM '18).
During the convention, Zach Klobnak presented a paper entitled "Organ Works of Rolande Falcinelli (1920-2006)." Klobnak recently received the DMA degree from the University of Illinois where Falcinelli was the focus of his doctoral research.
