For the second time in his career, Reginald Wilson (MFA Theatre ’11) received an AUDELCO Award for his work in Theatre. He was recognized for his solo performance in the off-Broadway hit Sugar Ray: The Sugar Ray Robinson Story.
Previously, Wilson was recognized as the Best Lead Actor for the 2012 New Haarlem Arts Theatre Production of Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
AUDELCO (Audience Development Committee, Inc.) was established in 1973 to promote and support African American performing arts communities.
