James Jenkins spent four weeks in July and August performing with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Boston Pops at the Tanglewood Music Festival. Jenkins performed a variety of music, including Richard Strauss’ Don Quixote, Ein Heldenleben, Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique and music by John Williams. Jenkins then traveled to Europe on a three-week tour with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, giving performances in London, Salzburg, Vienna, Lucerne, Milan, Paris, Cologne and Berlin. After the BSO tour, Jenkins joined the Cleveland Orchestra for two weeks of concerts in Severance Hall, performing Richard Strauss’ Alpine Symphony and Sprach Zarathustra. Jenkins completed his summer travels with a three-week tour with the Cleveland Orchestra.
