SA+AH alumnus Ben Carter (MFA Art ‘10) will present an art class at the Mendocino Art Center as a part of its ceramics workshops on June 6-8, 2014. Carter’s class, “Design for the Soft Surface,” focuses on integrating surface design with altered wheel-thrown and hand built pottery. Demonstrations include soft throwing, altering, working with foam slump molds, slip decorating and under glaze painting.
