    The UF Symphony Orchestra presents works by two titans of the symphonic form. Haydn's jolly, irrepressible "Surprise" Symphony — nicknamed for the famous chord in its second movement — contrasts with Shostakovich's monumental 10th symphony, a sober but ultimately triumphant tribute to humanity.
