UF College of the Arts School of Theatre and Dance presents its annual UF Actor Showcase on Monday March 5, 2018 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City. Inaugurated in 2001, the UF Actor Showcase is an opportunity for graduating students from UF graduate and undergraduate acting and musical theatre programs to present their work to representatives of the New York-based entertainment industry community (agents, casting directors, managers and producers) to launch their professional careers.
Emerging UF talents include recent graduates: Filipe Valle Costa (Snowfall, Blue Bloods); Lyndon Smith (White Famous, Public Morals, Parenthood); Alex Hernandez (NY Shakespeare in the Park, Roundabout, UnREAL, Hemlock Grove); Angelique Rivera (American Crime, Supernatural); Usman Ally (2015 Obie Award winner for The Invisible Hand [NYTW], A Series of Unfortunate Events, Veep); Vivian Lamolli (Lifeline, East Los High); Joe Coffey (“The Dodge Brothers”); George E. Salazar (B’way: Godspell, Off-B’way: The Lightning Thief,Tick, Tick…Boom!); Yael Reich (Rent & Mamma Mia! Nat’l Tours); Felipe Bombonato (Les Miserables Nat’l Tour); Thaddeus Pearson (Joseph & West Side Story Nat’l Tours); Nick Erkelens (Forever, Unforgettable); Linden Tailor (Odd Mom Out, Happyish); Lauren Nordvig (The Woodsman [New World Stages]); Alan Medrano (Theatreworks USA); Kaitlin Lawrence (42nd Street Nat’l Tour) and Reginald Wilson (2016 AUDELCO Award for Best Solo Performance).
