    Music in the Time of Leonardo: A Summer Choral Experience

    Music in the time of Leonardo is a commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci in 1519. The program will focus on the music of Josquin des Prez, a contemporary of Leonardo’s. Both lived in Milan during the 1480s, Leonardo would have known of Josquin who had become the most famous composer in Europe at that time. Join us and hear music that Leonardo da Vinci would have actually heard over five hundred years ago!

    Rehearsals: Mondays, July 1 – August 5, 6:30PM, Music Building Room 120

    To participate, attend the first rehearsal on July 1 and register via The Gainesville Civic Chorus website (link provided below).
