The program will include a piece written by the first African American composer to win a Pulitzer Prize, works that feature the words of the great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, music that honors the victims of the tragic shooting in Charleston, SC at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, the Negro National Anthem, and more! The University of Florida Concert Choir will also be featured!
This program will also feature two of our graduate conductors: Dr. Dré Graham and Mr. Preston Ridgell, alongside our music director, Dr. David Waybright.
The concert will begin at 7:20pm and will be held in the University Auditorium (next to Century Tower).
