The Border is Here

4Most Gallery  is pleased to present The Border is Here, a solo exhibition by Sandra de la Rosa, MFA candidate in Drawing and Painting at the University of Florida. Sandra will exhibit a body of work about the US-Mexico border. The exhibit depicts a series of drawings that visualize some of the dynamics that immigrants navigate such as language, access/or lack of legal forms of migration and privilege. All of these are translated into symbols such as doors, walls, ladders to nowhere and ladders leading to the entrance. There will be an opening reception for the exhibition at 4Most Gallery on Friday, November 29 from 7 to 10 p.m. There will be a closing reception on Friday, December 7 from 7 to 10 p.m. during the December Artwalk.

4Most Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 12 to 5 p.m. This exhibit is on view from November 28 to December 7, 2018.
