The Center for Arts in Medicine & The Center for European Studies present Telling: Gainesville from November 10 - November 19, 2016, at Actors' Warehouse.
Five veterans come together to tell their stories and openly discuss what it means to have served their country and to now live as veterans in the USA. With first hand accounts of a soldier’s life in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan, in-depth insights into the difficulties of returning home, and a post-show discussion with UF scholar Dr. Paul Ortiz, this project builds a bridge between civilians and veterans by creating a space for reflection and understanding.
