Summer Dance Intensive

This transformative four-week dance intensive combines a rigorous schedule of classes with rehearsals, work-in-progress showings, artists’ talks, and culminates in public showings of works created during Summer B. The mission of the intensive is to develop dancers with a wide range of technical skills and artistic sensibilities, preparing them for the vast range of performance, choreography, and learning opportunities available to them in today’s dance field.

The 2024 Summer Dance Intensive includes guest artists Herman Ramos and Huiwang Zhang.

Guest artist residencies is a partnership between UF College of the Arts and New York Live Arts, supported in part by the College of the Arts Creative B Summer Program in partnership with the Office of the Provost.

The Summer Dance Intensive will begin on July 8 and public showings will run August 2-4, 2024
