Relive the Jazz Age and join us for a Roaring Twenties Splendor!

This year’s fundraiser for the School of Music and School of Theatre + Dance embraces the 2020s with an interactive virtual experience unseen at Splendor. Partnering with the artists and designers at the UF Digital Worlds Institute, we invite patrons near and far to dial in to this production—featuring student performances, live guests, and behind-the-scenes entertainment that blurs the lines between a televised award show and 21st-century telethon. Pull your telephone off the wall and get ready to lay down some Benjamins at all-new silent auction, accessible on your pocket radio. Adjust your antennas and turn up the broadcast because the show is a talkie, with none other than actor, director, filmmaker, and professor Ryan Hope Travis as our host.

This one is ahead of its time—in full color

Registrants will receive a Party Pack filled with surprises to complement the virtual experience.

Guests will receive access to the speakeasy’s website before the evening begins. This one-stop shop will feature live-streaming entertainment, video conference lounges, and an online silent auction. A computer with Internet access is all that’s required, but you can enhance the experience with a mobile phone and webcam.

You’ll have the chance to see and interact with your fellow guests, so roll out the pink carpet in your living room and doll up in your finest—or coziest!—early-century attire.

    The Spirit of Splendor

In the theatre, concert hall, or at home, the spirit of Splendor remains the same. This annual benefit gala is an important opportunity for alumni and friends to come together across the globe to witness the profound talent of our students and support the UF School of Music and School of Theatre + Dance. Funds raised offer crucial support to the students in the form of scholarships, equipment needs, masterclasses, and professional development. Splendor also equips faculty with the necessary resources to be agile and respond to immediate needs. Particularly now, that couldn’t be more important. In the virtual world we now find ourselves in, Splendor is the perfect opportunity to safely connect with others who believe in the power of philanthropy to uplift and amplify the next generation of artists, advocates, and art educators.

Donate $200 per person, or $350 per couple's tickets. Donations of any amount are accepted as well.
