    When characters from Shakespeare and classic Greek drama engage with a nerdy student dramaturg and a Coney Island lifeguard, magic abounds in what the Ithaca Journal called “an adventure more original than anything Hollywood has done in years…” Prospero is trying to recover his magic and the chain reaction results in acts of heroism and romance that threaten the destruction of Manhattan.

    Written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, this epic adventure influenced by action movies, comic books, and the magic of theatre combines characters from classical plays with contemporary settings in a play that celebrates the ‘character’ inside us all.
