Musical Direction by Dr. Tony Offerle
Choreography by Andrew CaoPrince Pippin, the young son of the medieval French ruler Charlemange, is encouraged by a flashy troupe of dancers to try his hand at war, love, and other joys before settling down. The story explores the struggles of Pippin against his father, a tyrannical king. The responsibility of following in his father’s footsteps leaves Pippin lost and confused—and in search for something more fulfilling, for his “corner of the sky.” Pippin learns the meaning of family as well as the dangers in false appearances and empty promises in this infectious and humorous musical.
