    University Galleries at the University of Florida presents H.O.T. Elements, an exhibition featuring graduate and collaborative work from H.O.T. Clay, in the Grinter Gallery located on UF’s campus January 11 - February 9, 2018.

    H.O.T. Elements showcases work by past, present, and future officers of the student run organization H.O.T. Clay (Handbuilt or Thrown). The work featured represents collaborative as well as individual work created within the last year. It demonstrates the diversity of the ceramic medium and celebrates the hard work and dedication of the organization as a key component of the ceramics community at the University of Florida. Artists included: Jacque Adams, Kim Bauldree, Ariel Bowman, Sarah Davey, Caitlin Davis, G.V. Kelley, Carin Sankus, Ryan Shulz, Kourtney Stone, Karen Tharpe, Dia Webb and Stephanie Wilhelm.

    H.O.T. Clay is a student organization comprised of current students of the University of Florida’s School of Art + Art History. The mission of H.O.T. Clay is to increase the awareness and understanding of the ceramic arts.

    Gallery Location

    The Constance and Linton Grinter Gallery of International Art is located on the first floor of Grinter Hall on the east side of the University of Florida campus, just east of University Auditorium. Grinter Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gallery is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and UF holidays.

    Parking Information

    Daytime parking is available in reserved spaces between Fine Arts Building C (FAC) and Inner Road. From SW 13th Street, enter campus on Museum Drive. Turn right on Newell Drive, then right on Inner Road. Turn left into the parking lot behind FAC. The first three spaces on the left are reserved for gallery use. Parking permits are issued to gallery visitors in the University Gallery.
