4Most Gallery is pleased to present Field Work - Experiments in Research-Based Art Practice, a group exhibition coinciding with Artwalk Gainesville, on Friday, December 1, 2017, from 6-9 p.m. This exhibit is a collection of multimedia works by current BA and BFA students in UF’s School of Art and Art History. The artists are all participants in the course Making & Meaning, an interdisciplinary course aimed at merging academic research with a studio art practice. The group will exhibit a collection of their bold and innovative work including photography, sculpture, and installation. Together the artists have engaged in an active studio practice that is bolstered by academic research and have engaged in topics such as spiritual ecology, human rights, astrology, liminal spaces and mental illness.
Artists on Exhibit:
Kylie Brown, Jasmine Conrad, Natalie Galindo, Melissa Gillum, Isabella Guttuso, Liz Herold, Lauren Hranicky, Paxton Klotz, Francesca Levy, Sarah Marquez, Katie Thielen, PJ Thompson, Susana Villegas and Allison Vizzi
