embodied: Fall 2021 BFA Dance Showcase

The University of Florida School of Theatre + Dance is excited to invite patrons to experience the Fall BFA Showcase: embodied. embodied, directed by Xan Burley, is a showcase created by the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Dance fourth year students. Presented in two programs, this showcase is inspired by the student choreographers’ investigation of how the body can take on expressivity and quality. embodied includes twenty works choreographed by the individual student choreographers in the fourth year BFA dance degree. The showcase was put together by the twenty student choreographers with the help of Jeni Higgins, Colleen Davoli, Jenny Goelz, and Xan Burley.
Due to Covid-19 and UF policies, masks are expected while viewing the performance. Seating will also be offered at a limited capacity to ensure social distancing.
