Art and science unite at the Florida Museum of Natural History on January 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. to show the biodiversity of the Gulf of Mexico and the effects of oil spills and other environmental challenges to the Gulf region. Drifting Cabinets, a portable, pop-up, hands-on collection invites viewers to explore a series of customized steamer trunks containing specimens, paintings, photos and sculptures curated, collected or created by artist and School of Art and Art History associate professor Sean Miller and other participating artists and scientists.
