  • Description

The Advanced Drawing Program at the University of Florida is proud to present, the Senior Drawing Exhibition. This show features the work of six University of Florida BFA candidates, and serves to highlight the different observations and techniques with which each artist sees the world.

Luca Brunozzi creates narrative scenes that revolve around mythology and consumption, and explore the relationship between the two. Pedro Fadraga assembles large-scale expressive line work as a means to communicate ideas, material and color, gesturally. Julian Farmer explores the innuendos that surround and alter the perceptions of men and masculinity. Alyssa Hendricks combines the geometric and the organic as a commentary on an evolving perception of nature in an ever-digitizing world. Kimberlyn Lamb expresses feminine identity through installation work that utilizes pornographic magazines, floral patterns and vintage cookbooks. Xavier Moss (Biological Illustration major) explores parasites and their seemingly repulsive deeds, highlighting the beauty of these exceptional creatures.

This show will be hosted by the Ayers Technology Plaza, located at 720 SW 2nd Ave, Suite 258 in Gainesville, Florida.

Senior Drawing Exhibition will be on exhibit April 23rd and April 24th.
