    This course offers an insight into the depths of music composition. We’ll listen to various musical styles, parse out what it is we’re listening to, and compare it to what we’re really hearing. No previous knowledge in music theory required! Just bring your ears, and a willingness to open them anew!

    All Community Music School courses are $200 for the first course, which includes all class sessions. Each additional course is offered at the discounted rate of $150.

    Course fees benefit UF School of Music students and programs. Please note that this is not a UF credit-bearing course.
