Beginning Jazz Piano

      This course will be taught Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 PM. First class starts May 2nd, and the last class will be May 18th. NOTE: The final two class meetings, May 16th and 18th, will be 2-hour sessions, meeting 6:00–8:00 p.m.

    No previous jazz experience necessary! Basic piano skills are recommended, but not required. Learn the fundamentals of how to hear and approach jazz piano like the pros!

    All Community Music School courses are $200 for the first course, which includes all class sessions. Each additional course is offered at the discounted rate of $150.

    Course fees benefit UF School of Music students and programs. Please note that this is not a UF credit-bearing course.

    Registrants must be age 18 or older. Registration will lock for each class at 4:00 p.m. on the first meeting day.
