Amadi Azikiwe Guest Artist Recital & Masterclass

Join UF School of Music guest artist Amadi Azikiwe of the Harlem Chamber Players for a concert and masterclass January 22 & 23.

Azikiwe will perform several new works on both violin and viola by American composers based on African-American spirituals, hymns, and blues by composers Nkeiru Okoye, Kenji Bunch, and David Baker. He will also be playing the well-loved “Kreutzer Sonata” by Beethoven for violin and piano. Lauren Hodges (viola) and Chris Goddard (piano) will be assisting.

Both events are free and open to the public.
