Students Thinking BIG brings together student projects across the arts, humanities, science, engineering, technology, and business, creating a community-facing space that connects students, educators, families, and community members within Gainesville’s innovation ecosystem. Hosted in partnership with the UF Engineering Innovation Institute’s IGNITE (Innovation Gator Network), the UF Center for Arts, Migration, and Entrepreneurship (CAME), and the Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention.

Saturday, April 11, 10:00am – 2:00pm | COMMUNITY INNOVATION DAY AT THE CADE

Community Innovation Day is a family-friendly, open showcase where students from UF and
Santa Fe College share their work through creative exhibits, demonstrations, and storytelling
installations. The day invites the broader community to explore how students are thinking about
real-world challenges and shaping ideas through design, invention, and creativity. The event is
designed to be welcoming and engaging for audiences of all ages, encouraging curiosity,
conversation, and discovery
