Eligible ages for the Festival: 13-18 (Pre-College) 

  • UF International Piano Competition on Saturday, May 30, and Workshops on Sunday, May 31. 

Application Fee: $50 

Deadline for the application: April 1

Application requirement: 

  • Send a video link(s) of two contrasting pieces (minimum of 10 minutes total. No maximum length limitation) to ufipf@arts.ufl.edu

Depending on the result of the application, an applicant will be admitted to one of the following participant categories: 

  • Festival Participants: 
    • Performance at the competition, Attendance at the Reception (both on May 30), Attendance at the workshops (May 31)
  • Observer Participants: 
    • Ticket to observe the competition, Attendance at the Reception (both on May 30), Attendance at the workshops (May 31)

Prizes for the competition:

  • 1st prize $1000
  • 2nd prize $500
  • 3rd prize $250
