Our Food is Medicine Creative B program begins with a simple premise: everybody eats. As we navigate major life changes and explore the many possibilities of what lies ahead, our program centers food as a unifying force for healing, understanding, growth, and connection. Food is medicine, and we believe that sharing our food and cultural traditions with one another is key to building sustainable relationships that nourish ourselves and others.

Through a two-day series of interdisciplinary workshops and activities led by campus and community experts, students are encouraged to practice relational knowledge and care through shared food and culture. Our program collaborators feature local businesses and organizations who will introduce students to a lush ecosystem of opportunities beyond campus to engage with art, science, and food cultures.

This event is free, but RSVP is required as there are limited seats.

In collaboration between Center for Arts, Migration and Entrepreneurship (CAME), Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS), and Center for Arts in Medicine (CAM)

Sponsored in part by the College of the Arts Creative B Summer Program in partnership with the Office of the Provost.
