Community Afro-Haitian Dance Masterclass

The Center for Arts, Migration and Entrepreneurship welcomes Adia Whitaker, Director of the Àṣẹ Dance Theatre Collective (Brooklyn, NY), for a residency in Gainesville as she develops her dance film project, Following the Road to Ose Tura. Along with leading dance masterclasses in the community and on campus, Adia will host a public discussion on the creative process of choreographing and producing the project.

Join us at the Eastside Recreation Center for a free community Afro-Haitian dance class! Light refreshments will be offered.
