Join us for the annual Cadenza benefit to support the UF School of Music on Saturday, March 7, 2026. This unforgettable event begins with a pre-show reception with live music, a silent auction, and opportunities to connect with School of Music faculty, students, and fellow supporters. You’ll then experience a concert featuring performances from a diverse program of chamber ensembles, and end the evening over dessert and coffee with the performers. Cadenza is the perfect opportunity to enjoy top-notch music while connecting with others who believe in the power of philanthropy to uplift and amplify the next generation of artists.

Evening Agenda

6:00 p.m. | Reception begins, Atrium

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Includes drinks and heavy appetizers, silent auction, photo opportunities, and a special music experience for sponsors and VIP ticketholders.

7:30 p.m. | Cadenza performance, MUB 101

9:00 p.m. | Post-show dessert and coffee hour, Atrium

Following the Cadenza performance, mingle with student performers and faculty over desserts and coffee.

9:30 p.m. | Event concludes

Suggested Dress

Festive/cocktail attire. Note that the pre-concert reception will take place in a covered space that is not climate controlled. We suggest you dress accordingly and consider bringing layers. The venue where performances will take place is fully climate controlled.

Parking Information

Complimentary valet parking will be available to all Cadenza attendees at the north entrance to the UF School of Music Building, 435 Newell Drive.
