Afrofuturism Week will be held at various locations on and off campus

Join us for Afrofuturism Week 2025! This fifteen-day series will celebrate Black diasporic culture, history and alternate futures through art, film, music, fashion, and dialogue.

Our theme for 2025 is ‘Furious Joy,’ inspired by Alice Walker’s book, Hard Times Require Furious Dancing.

Brought to you by the Center For Arts, Migration and Entrepreneurship and various community and campus partners.
