The UF African Popular Music Ensemble Spring celebrates the popular music of the African Continent and its rich musical diaspora. This semester’s program features the works of Fela Kuti, Tony Allen, Herbie Hancock, the Kokoroko Afrobeat Collective, and the Shaolin Afronauts, as well as several student arrangements.
