Africa Stars is a multi-media artistic immersion into African culture, during July 2020. Sign up for as many sessions you’d like. No limit!

Experience music, dance, languages, and visual arts, spanning 4 evenings in July. Follow international and local experts through a guided tour of African arts exhibits. Participate in music performances. Follow along in African craft-making tutorials. Move along with us in an instructional dance demonstration. Gain exposure to African languages from across the continent, and interact with artists, performers, curators, and creatives through this ‘live’ online event.

The first 50 registrants will receive Africa Stars 2020 SWAG and craft supplies! Participants will receive information about classes, workshops, and cultural events related to Africa at UF and the wider region throughout the year

Africa Stars 2020 is sponsored by the Center for African Studies, the Harn Museum of Art, the Center for Arts, Migration and Entrepreneurship, and UF’s Creative Campus program.
