Chris received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in Theatre in 2007. He then went to the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) where he received his MFA in Production/Stage Management in 2010.
Immediately following grad school, Chris returned to Gainesville and began teaching Introduction to Theatre, Acting Fundamentals, and Acting I at Santa Fe College until May 2015. Chris began working at UF as the Assistant Production for SOTD in January 2013.
Chris also taught courses at UF, including Production and Performance: Publicity, in which he trained and worked closely with students on the front of house aspects associated with theatre and dance. Chris also had the pleasure of serving as the Production Manager for Swamp Dance Fest for several years under the direction of Trent D. Williams, Jr. and Tiffany Rhynard, working closely with guest artists such as David Dorfman, Iyun Ashani Harrison, Keith Thompson, Mark Haim, Duane Cyrus, Helenius Wilkins, Stefanie Batten Bland and many more.
In his free time, Chris enjoys being involved with a local CrossFit gym as well as reading plays and getting back to the craft of acting.
