Biography

Erika R. Moore is an educator, facilitator, and arts strategist who moves fluidly between classrooms, studios, and boardrooms. She earned her MFA in Dance from Arizona State University and a B.S. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management, training that grounds her work in both creative practice and organizational strategy.

Over the past decade, Erika has worked with institutions such as NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, and David Zwirner Gallery, where she led projects that connected artists, communities, and resources. A classically trained dancer and certified Pilates instructor, she brings an embodied approach to everything she does—whether designing programs, facilitating workshops, or mentoring students.

At the University of Florida, Erika teaches in the Center for Arts in Medicine’s certificate program, sharing the history, theory, and practice of arts in health. Her research lives at the crossroads of the arts, AI, human performance, and community engagement. Through Moore Arts, she carries this vision forward, working with organizations and individuals to imagine how creative practice can help us live, learn, and connect in deeper ways.
