Biography

DeAnna Rowe received her MFA in Costume Design and Technology from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She has taught at the University of Memphis, DeSales University, Ohio University and The Art Institute of Hollywood. Her teaching specialties are Costume Technology including Costume Construction, Flat Patterning, Draping, Millinery, Dye Techniques, Stage Makeup and Costume Crafts.

Some of DeAnna’s favorite professional collaborations include Tennessee Shakespeare Company, South Coast Repertory Theatre, Missouri Repertory Theatre, Kansas City Ballet, American Players Theatre, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Delicate Illusions, and Glimmerglass Opera.  DeAnna recently enjoyed the opportunity to work with the William Ivey Long Studios recreating the Broadway costumes for the touring production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella
