Originally from Bangor, Pennsylvania, Jade began her training at Dance Design Studio in Easton, PA. She continued her dance studies in Bethlehem, PA at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, where she graduated from in June of 2015. Here, she was given the opportunity to perform and present her work, “Wound by Enticement”, at the Regional High School Dance Festival in Norfolk, Virginia. She also had the opportunity of dancing with the local company, Artists in Unity, directed by Lindsay Schaefer, focusing primarily on dance film work. Most recently, she has traveled to Northern Ireland, where she was able to set work that was performed at the Day of Dance festival in Strabane. She currently is a fourth-year student at the University of Florida pursuing a BFA in Dance, a mass communications minor, and certificate in dance in medicine while working as a PR and marketing intern for College of the Arts. This is her fourth year with the repertory company, MOD Dance Ensemble, at the University of Florida, where she has served as assistant rehearsal director. She looks forward to the rest of her time at the University of Florida, and would like to thank her family, friends, and mentors for their love and support.
