TRAVELING TO GAINESVILLE
Flying? Here is some information on local airports:
- Gainesville Regional Airport, GNV - 20 minutes to campus.
Taxis are available for hire at the airport ($30 or so fare to the University).
Rental cars are available.
- Jacksonville International Airport, JAX. - 90 minutes to campus.
You would need to rent a car to travel to Gainesville.
- Orlando International Airport, MCO. - 120 minutes to campus.
You would need to rent a car to travel to Gainesville.
- Tampa International Airport, TPA. - 120 minutes to campus.
You would need to rent a car to travel to Gainesville.

Parking? The conference event map includes parking locations. Event Location Map
THURSDAY: Parking in the Garage on Newell Drive is free after 4:30 on Thursday afternoon.
FRIDAY: Parking in the Newell Drive garage will be by permit only on Friday. You must register for the conference and state your need for parking by FEB 1 in order to get a permit. This lot fills up around 9:30am, so arrive early if you plan to park there!
The Pay Parking Garage at the Reitz Union costs $5 for all day parking. There are short-term spaces and all-day spaces. Be careful where you park. Pay at the machine in the garage. Arrive early to be sure to get a space.
SATURDAY: Parking in the Newell Drive garage is free on Saturday.
Walking? Events will be held on the University of Florida campus in the Music Building.
