A² Fab Lab

The ZCorp ZScanner 700 enables a fluid transition between the physical and digital realms. This 3D scanner is available for use by students and faculty to scan physical objects and develop them into workable digital files. Many objects are easy to scan. However, small or thin items (any dimension less than an inch) can be very difficult. Email us with questions. Scanning is done at the fab lab during normal help hours, under the supervision of our staff. Please reserve the scanner ahead of time. Usage outside the lab is prohibited to undergraduates, but may be allowed for grad students and faculty with appropriate signed agreements regarding damage and/or replacement of the scanner equipment.
